Power Boat Instructor Course |
Course Duration: 3 Days
Minimum Age: 18
Course Content:
The course
will cover principles of practical instruction, lesson planning,
teaching styles, use of questioning, preparation and use of visual
aids, assessment of student’s
learning, explanation and presentation of theory subjects, the
structure of the scheme, planning progressive teaching sessions,
preparation of boats and equipment, teaching methods to Level 2.
Prior knowledge or Qualifications: Candidates
must have logged at least 5 seasons experience of driving power
boats or have used power boats for a year as an integral part of
their full time job role. All candidates must hold the RYA Level
2 Power Boat certificate and hold a current First Aid certificate.
