Foundation,
Safety & Rescue Training |
Course Duration: 1
Day
Minimum Age: 14+
Course Content: A comprehensive
training programme for sheltered water rescue and recovery which
replaces the Canoe Safety test. The course covers a wide range
of land and boat based rescues of swimmers and paddlers in and
from a wide range of canoe craft. This is a pre-requisite for the
coaching awards and a valuable course for anyone who wants to be
confident that they can get themselves (or a companion) out of
trouble on the water.
Prior knowledge or Qualifications: 2
Star Standard / Preferably First Aid
