Safety
SWSA has over 40 years experience in providing safe outdoor adventure
activities and regards the safety of all participants as its highest
priority.
We invest significant time and resources in risk assessments
of our activities and training for all our instructors. All our
activities have been carefully assessed for inherent hazards and
specific safe operating procedures created for each activity.
Standards
All centres have licences granted by
the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority Suffolk County Council
ensure that all of our facilities and equipment are regularly inspected.
All our water sports facilities are approved training centres
for the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the British Canoe
Union (BCU).
Experience
The Suffolk Outdoor education team
are highly qualified instructors who hold the appropriate National
Governing Body qualifications. In addition many of Instructors
are senior coaches and act as technical experts in their own right.
All staff are first aid trained and informed of the latest Safe
Guarding polices and procedures

All activities are covered by Suffolk Council County public liability
insurance and personal accident insurance is also available.
